School of Philosophy
The Laboratory of Students' Psychological Counseling was established in 1990 under the title Counselling Centre for Students. As from 1997, it is a member of the Network of Centres for Social Support of Children and Youth, sponsored by the General Secretariat of Youth, a body of the Greek Government. It is also a member of the European Forum for Student Guidance (FEDORA) and a founding member of FEDORA-PSYCHE, the division of FEDORA for Psychological Counselling.
The major goal of the Laboratory of Students' Psychological Counseling is to provide help and support to students facing different kinds of problems during their university life. It is addressed to students from all departments of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens for a period of time that can be extended up to six months after graduation.
