The mission of the Accessibility Unit for Students with Disabilities of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens is to actively realize equal access to academic studies for students with different abilities and needs. This is mainly achieved through assistive technologies and access services and includes the following: 

• access to interpersonal communication with the members of the academic community,
• access to the university campus and school premises,
• access to the printed or electronic educational material,
• access to lectures and classes,
• access to the exams/tests, and
• access to electronic information and Internet content.
