Friday, April 4, 2025 - Clinical Tutorial "3D Printing and Health", within the framework of the 15th P.S.F.N.

On Friday, April 4, 2025, within the framework of the 15th P.S.F.N., the clinical tutorial entitled "3D Printing and Health" will be held for the 3rd consecutive year.

The clinical tutorial on 3D printing aims to introduce the concept of 3D printing to nursing department students. Additionally, to provide an understanding of the application of this technology in the healthcare field, and, of course, the role of nurses. Initially, a brief presentation will be made on what 3D printing is and its applications in health. Then, the stages of 3D printing and the necessary tools will be presented, accompanied by a demonstration of fundamental software tools and a 3D printer. During the clinical tutorial, a brief application using free online 3D printing design tools will be conducted. Additionally, a practical exercise will be performed, a simple model will be designed, and a sample will be printed, as part of a project implemented by the 3D printing team of the Health Informatics Laboratory at the Department of Nursing of the National University of Athens.
